I usually hate dealing with car repair because it's tough to find someone you can trust. Then I found Cartech. These people do great work, but most of all, they are honest. I've taken my vehicles there for all service, from basic maintenance to large repairs. They are thorough and honest. I have taken my son's older "junker" for repair and they have never taken advantage. When the engine was finally shot, they spent half a day properly diagnosing the issue and fully advising what was needed, and then didn't charge me for the time spent because we were going to have to buy a new car. That's the level of honesty they bring. I've referred them to friends who have all expressed the same level of satisfaction.

An honest mechanic with good prices, you can't beat that. I called Cartech on a Saturday in need of an oil change, state inspection, and to diagnose some squeaky brakes. Brought the car in that same day. They were very friendly to deal with and actually asked reasonable questions to try and get to the root of the problem before even touching the car (how often does it squeak, any vibration, etc.). On the spot they told us what it probably was, but said they would call with the diagnosis. Well, a couple hours later they called (I did tell them they could have the car all day) and said my car needed new brake pads (exactly what was predicated). I appreciated that they told me they could resurface my rotors, but that it would be right at the limit, which may cause issues with vibration and result in extra labor to replace them later. They recommended replacement, but certainly were not pushy. I really like a mechanic who will tell me what I NEED to do and make a recommendation on what might be best. They gave me the price, which included the oil change, inspection, and replacement of a tag light that was needed to pass inspection (only $6 installed). All told, the price they gave was equal to the price another well reviewed shop gave me to just replace the brake pads and rotors. An hour later they called and told me all was done. He also told me that he screwed up the quote and that it would actually be $30 less than what he said. So, he had my permission to charge a certain amount and still corrected it to be a lower amount, you have to appreciate that honesty. The oil change was uneventful (as they should be) and reasonably priced. While hard to separate out from the other work done, it was at or below the typical $39 price tag you see at most shops. The card drives better than before (no vibration when braking) and no squeaking. All round a great experience. Also, while I didn't use it, they have a pretty nice waiting room if you need to hang around while they fix your car.

These guys are great; friendly, quick, and honest with decent prices to boot you can't really go wrong. The shop is really clean and the waiting area is pretty large so you don't feel like sardines in a can waiting for you car. They offer you free beverages too, not just coffee and water but sodas as well. Cartech even has a play area for kids which is pretty impressive. The garage itself is kept clean and organized and the mechanics are all polite and have no issues having you come back to the garage to see what they think needs their attention. Definitely sticking with these guys for my car needs.

We have taken our cars several times to cartech for minor things. However we just had our first major repair work done there and we couldn't be happier. I have never left a car shop; spending a large chunk of money and feeling this good about an experience. They have a new customer for life.
